Refund Policy

We want you to have a satisfying experience with PrimeLab Petratides. If something isn’t right with your order, we’re here to help. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds may apply and how to request one. It aligns with U.S. consumer protection guidelines and our commitment to customer satisfaction.

1. Return Eligibility (Unused Products Only)

Due to the unique and collectible nature of our meteorites and handcrafted jewelry, we do not offer refunds or returns once an item has been used, worn, or removed from its sealed packaging. However, you may be eligible for a refund if:

  • You notify us within 14 days of receiving your item, and

  • The item is unworn, unused, in its original condition, and still in the original packaging.

Contact our support before sending any item back. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.


2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with the following:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the damaged or incorrect item

  • A brief description of the issue

Once verified, we will offer either:

  • A replacement at no cost, or

  • A full refund to your original payment method


3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Buyer’s remorse (you changed your mind after receiving the item)

  • You ordered the wrong size/model but the correct one was delivered

  • The product was damaged due to improper handling after delivery

  • Custom or personalized items (if offered in the future)

  • Any request made more than 14 days after delivery

  • Attempted returns without contacting us first


4. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it ships by contacting us at support@primelabpetratides.com. Once your item has shipped, the order is considered final unless the return eligibility conditions above apply.


5. Shipping Fees

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item or damaged product).

  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.

  • If a free shipping promotion was applied and you return part of the order, the original shipping cost may be deducted from the refund if the adjusted order no longer qualifies for the promotion.


6. Refund Processing

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

  • If a refund cannot be issued to the original method (e.g. card closed), we’ll work with you to arrange an alternative, such as store credit.


7. Fraud and Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to deny refunds or block users in cases of:

  • Repeated refund abuse

  • Suspicious chargeback patterns

  • Fraudulent or unauthorized orders

We may contact Stripe or relevant authorities where appropriate.


8. How to Request a Refund

Contact us at support@primelabpetratides.com with:

  • Your order number

  • The email used at checkout

  • A description of the issue

  • Photo evidence, if applicable

We'll respond within 1–2 business days. Refunds are handled fairly and transparently in accordance with this policy.


9. Legal Note

This Refund Policy is compliant with applicable U.S. consumer laws. If any provision conflicts with your local legal rights, we will respect the law.
